Sarasota Brides was perfect! I went in without expecting to find a thing at the store's closing time. The staff were extremely nice and let me try on dresses even though they were closing. I found my dress! It's beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I suggest you stop by if you are near the Sarasota area. Definitely worth it.

Sarasota Brides was the first dress shop I went to and I was merely expecting to narrow down the type of style of dress I had in mind.  I entered with no preconceptions as to a particular style, design, or any sample photos of dresses I liked.  Upon entering the shop Victoria was most attentive and helpful.  After trying on a few dresses I picked out, she could decipher I was not pleased with any of those styles for me, simply by asking a few questions and listening to my response, she selected the perfect dress.  I tried it on and knew instantly that I did not need to look elsewhere as this was the one for me!  It brought ears to my Mom's eyes and made me truly feel like a 'bride'.
 
Everybody at the shop is incredibly attentive and the customer service is exceptional. I would recommend this shop to any bride in search of her perfect dress.

The service here surpasses all of the other bridal boutiques I have been to. Each employee is very helpful, but my consultant was outstanding! She became personally invested in finding the best gown for you and is so warm and caring....even to the point where she would hide a more expensive gown from me every time I would go to her shop since she knew I loved it, but it was out of my budget! Quality selection and excellent service!

I walked into Sarasota Brides yesterday on the verge of a panic attack. I was overwhelmed and didn't even know where to begin. Within minutes I could take a deep breath and I felt like I could say anything and be understood.

The staff was so warm and welcoming, kind and understanding with my personal insecurities, and they had me feeling like a normal bride in no time. I had my grandmother and my mother with me and all of us ladies were laughing and talking freely while I was trying on dresses I never would have thought to choose. I found the most beautiful dress in the world on the 8th try.

This truly is a full service salon. I had my dress altered, my bridesmaids shoes dyed, and found my wedding designer/florist at Sarasota Brides! Karis was always so helpful and friendly at the store. And the seamstress was so talented. The day of the wedding, Kim, handled several unexpected family "issues" that seem to always occur at weddings, made sure I remembered my bouquet for sunset beach photos during the reception, and always kept a drink in my hand! My sister and I went to Sarasota Brides on Friday, 6/20/08 in search of bridesmaid dresses. It was a pleasant experience. They helped us out with no appointment required. They gave us ample breathing room, allowing us to take our time trying on multiple dresses, and periodically checked on us to see if we needed help with anything. They were very polite, professional and down to earth. Sarasota Brides was the 2nd bridal shop that I visited, and I'm happy to say that we found what we were looking for!!

I am so blessed to say that I was married on 06/21/08 to the man of my dreams! I am a 41 years young and had begun to accept that this would never happen to me! I am the mother of the groom. My son was very particular about the choice of dress I was to wear. Carol had many suggestions and kept in mind the colors we were working with, the style of dress, and how much "clevage" should show (or not!) She also made sure that I was comfortable and the dress would flatter my figure. I did need some alterations and she wouldn't allow me to take the dress until it was perfect! I recently stopped into Sarasota Brides on a whim, thinking I'd just try on some bridal gowns to make my parents happy. I thought I'd end up buying a dress in San Francisco, where I live, but Carol and Karis pulled the absolute perfect dress for me, and I bought it on the spot! I had already been shopping in California and had been treated quite well, but I was truly floored by the incredible customer service I and my folks received (the second my dad started to tear up Carol was at the ready with tissues...). Carol was as hands on AND hands off as I needed her to be, and when Karis took the time to find just the right veil, I knew I could not say no, nor did I want to. I was very impressed with the store's wedding gown collection-the price points ranged, but were incredibly reasonable overall, as were their veil styles and price points. I cannot WAIT to go back in July to collect my gown and thank Karis and Carol one more time in person for all that they've done for me.
